unKeep Subscription Terms
Last updated: 25 June 2026
These Subscription Terms cover the paid plans you can take out with unKeep. They tell you what each plan costs, how it renews, how to cancel, your cooling-off right, and what happens to your account if a payment fails. Please read them alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and (if you sell) our Seller Terms, which together govern your use of unKeep.
In these terms "we", "us", "our" and "unKeep" mean AllMumsTalk Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 08233578, whose registered office is at 5 Golden Mede, Waddesdon, England, HP18 0NG. "You" and "your" mean the person who takes out a paid plan. "App" means the unKeep mobile app and website.
unKeep is a collection-only marketplace for second-hand goods in the UK. Buyers and sellers meet in person and the goods are paid for directly between them in cash. unKeep is not a party to the sale of any item. These Subscription Terms only cover the monthly plans you pay us for; they do not cover the price of any item, which is always a matter between buyer and seller.
1. The paid plans
1.1 unKeep offers the following paid plans. All prices include VAT where VAT applies. There are no reservation fees, service fees, or other add-on charges layered on top at checkout: the price you see is the price you pay.
| Plan | Price (VAT inclusive) | Billing | Who it is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seller Agent | 9.99 per month | Monthly, auto-renewing | Sellers who want more than the 10 AI listings a month everyone gets free |
| Buyer Agent | 9.99 per month | Monthly, auto-renewing | Buyers who want our AI to watch (hunt) unKeep for the listings they want and prompt them to reserve |
| Ultra Radius | 4.99 per month | Monthly, auto-renewing | Buyers or sellers who want to remove the 15-mile collection limit and reserve and collect anywhere in the UK. Can be taken on its own |
1.2 What each plan gives you:
(a) Seller Agent (9.99 per month). You can photograph items and have our AI draft and price a listing for each one, 100 AI listings each month on top of the 10 free everyone gets (110 a month in total). You edit and confirm every listing before it goes live. Your listings are collection-only within the default 15-mile radius unless you also hold Ultra Radius. Listing copy drafted by our AI is labelled as AI-generated. You, the seller, warrant the accuracy, legality, ownership, genuineness and safety of your items; unKeep does not (see our Seller Terms).
(b) Buyer Agent (9.99 per month). Our AI watches (hunts) unKeep for the listings you want, up to 5 hunts at once. It proposes matches and prompts you to reserve them; it never auto-reserves. Browsing on unKeep is free and there is no subscription to buy (a 1.00 reservation fee applies per reservation); the Buyer Agent subscription is an optional convenience, not a requirement to buy.
(c) Ultra Radius (4.99 per month). Removes the 15-mile collection limit so you can reserve and collect anywhere in the UK, beyond the default 15-mile radius. It is available to buyers and to sellers, and you can take it on its own without any other plan.
(d) Extra Listings is not a subscription. Extra Listings is a separate one-time add-on pack, not an auto-renewing plan, so it is not covered by these Subscription Terms. Each pack costs 4.99 and adds 25 listings; you can buy as many packs as you need. The listings never expire and are used only after your monthly allowance for that month is used up. Packs do not auto-renew and are non-refundable, so the cooling-off and auto-renewal clauses in these terms do not apply to them. Extra Listings is described in full on our Fees and Pricing page.
1.3 Buyers do not need to take out a paid plan to use unKeep. Browsing is free. When you reserve an item, unKeep charges a 1.00 reservation fee, described in our Terms of Service and Reservation Fee Policy: a platform service fee for facilitating the reservation. You still pay the seller the full agreed price in cash, in person, at collection. The paid plans above are optional extras and are separate from the reservation fee.
1.4 The 1.00 reservation fee is not part of any subscription. It is unKeep's platform service fee for facilitating a reservation - reserving the item for you, taking it off the market for other buyers, revealing the handover location, and arranging the QR-confirmed collection. It is charged immediately when you reserve, as a real charge that leaves your account at reservation. It is non-refundable if you cancel your reservation or do not turn up to collect, and it is refunded where the collection cannot go ahead through no fault of yours. It is not a deposit, not stored value, and not a penalty, and unKeep does not hold it as your money. It is described in full in our Terms of Service and Reservation Fee Policy, and is not affected by, and does not affect, your subscription.
1.5 A free account can make offers and reserve within 15 miles of home and gets 10 listings per calendar month. Creating or using multiple accounts (for example multiple email addresses) to get more than the 10 free listings a month is prohibited.
2. Pre-contract information
2.1 Before you take out a plan we show you, in the App, in a clear and prominent way:
(a) the name of the plan and what it includes;
(b) the price, including VAT, and that it is a recurring monthly charge;
(c) that the plan auto-renews every month until you cancel;
(d) how to cancel and that cancelling is free and can be done in the App at any time;
(e) your 14-day cooling-off right and how taking the option to start straight away affects it (see section 4);
(f) the minimum duration of your commitment, which is one month, after which the plan continues month to month until cancelled.
2.2 By tapping to confirm and start a plan you acknowledge that you have seen this information and that starting the plan places you under an obligation to pay. The confirm button is labelled to make clear that it commits you to pay (for example "Subscribe and pay 9.99 per month").
2.3 We will send you a confirmation of your plan, including these terms, by email and in the App after you subscribe. This is your durable copy of the contract.
3. Payment, billing and auto-renewal
3.1 Payment processor. All subscription payments are taken through Stripe, our payment service provider. When you subscribe you authorise us, acting through Stripe, to charge your chosen payment method the plan price each month until you cancel. Your card details are held by Stripe, not by unKeep.
3.2 Billing cycle. Each plan is billed monthly in advance. Your first payment is taken when your plan starts (subject to the cooling-off rules in section 4). After that, each renewal payment is taken on the same date each month (or the nearest prior date in months that do not have that date).
3.3 Auto-renewal. Your plan renews automatically each month for a further one-month term, at the then-current price, until you cancel. We do not need to ask you again each month: by subscribing you agree to the recurring charge. You can stop the next renewal at any time by cancelling (see section 5).
3.4 Multiple plans. If you hold more than one plan (for example the Seller Agent subscription and Ultra Radius) each is a separate subscription with its own price, and they may bill on the same date or on different dates depending on when you started each one. Cancelling one plan does not cancel the others.
3.5 VAT. All prices include VAT at the applicable rate where VAT is chargeable. If the rate of VAT changes, the VAT-inclusive price may change in line with section 7.
3.6 No drip pricing. The monthly price shown is the total you pay for that plan. We do not add mandatory fees, charges or unavoidable costs at a later step. If we ever introduce a genuinely optional paid extra, we will show its full price up front before you choose it.
4. Your 14-day cooling-off right (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
4.1 If you are a consumer (an individual buying for purposes that are mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession), you have a legal right to change your mind and cancel a new plan within 14 days, starting the day after the day you entered into it. This is your cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You do not need to give a reason.
4.2 Services usually do not start until the cooling-off period ends, unless you ask. A subscription is a service contract. Normally a service does not have to begin until the 14-day cooling-off period is over. Because most people want to start using their plan straight away, when you subscribe we offer you an express option to start your plan immediately. The wording is along these lines:
"I want my plan to start now, during the 14-day cooling-off period. I understand that if I cancel later in this period I will be charged for the part of the service I have used up to cancellation, and that once the service has been fully provided in this period I will lose my right to cancel under the cooling-off rules."
You choose this option by ticking it before you confirm. If you do not choose it, your plan and your access to its features will not begin until the 14-day period has ended.
4.3 What happens if you cancel within the cooling-off period:
(a) If you did not ask us to start during the cooling-off period: the service had not begun, so you get a full refund of anything paid and owe nothing.
(b) If you asked us to start during the cooling-off period and you cancel before the service is fully provided: we will refund what you paid, less a proportionate amount for the part of the plan you have already had the benefit of, worked out on a pro-rata basis up to the day you tell us you are cancelling. For example, if you cancel a 9.99 monthly plan 7 days into the month, we keep roughly 7/30 of the price and refund the rest.
(c) If you asked us to start during the cooling-off period and the service has been fully provided within those 14 days: you lose the right to cancel under the cooling-off rules for that period, because you agreed to that consequence when you asked us to start now. In practice, a one-month plan is not "fully provided" until the month is over, so this mainly matters if a plan is consumed in full inside the 14 days.
4.4 How to use your cooling-off right. You can cancel within the cooling-off period in the App (Settings, then Subscriptions), or by emailing us at connect@unkeep.co.uk. You may use the model cancellation form in Schedule 1, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline, just send your message before the 14 days are up.
4.5 Refunds. We make any refund using the same payment method you used to pay, without undue delay and within 14 days of the day we are told you are cancelling. We do not charge a fee for making a refund.
4.6 This cooling-off right is separate from, and in addition to, your right to cancel at any time under section 5. Business users (people taking a plan for business purposes) do not have the statutory cooling-off right but can still cancel under section 5.
5. Cancelling your plan at any time
5.1 You can cancel any plan at any time, for any reason, free of charge. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum number of months beyond the current one.
5.2 How to cancel. Cancelling is easy and is done in the App: go to Settings, then Subscriptions, choose the plan, and tap Cancel. You can also email connect@unkeep.co.uk. We do not make you call us, write a letter, or go through extra steps. Cancelling is at least as easy as subscribing.
5.3 When cancellation takes effect. Unless you are exercising the cooling-off right in section 4, cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you have already paid for, and then ends. You keep access to the plan's features until that end date.
5.4 Pro-rata refund on valid early cancellation. You are not normally entitled to a refund for the remainder of a month you have already paid for, because you keep access until the month ends. However, where you have a legal right to a pro-rata refund (for example a valid cooling-off cancellation under section 4, or where we are at fault, or where the law otherwise requires it), we will refund the unused part of the period on a pro-rata day-count basis, using the same payment method, without undue delay.
5.5 No penalty terms. We will not charge you a penalty for cancelling. Any sum we keep on an early cancellation reflects only the value of the service you have actually received, not a charge for ending the contract.
6. Failed payments, dunning, grace period and lapse
6.1 If a renewal payment fails. If we cannot take a renewal payment (for example your card has expired or there are insufficient funds), Stripe will automatically retry the payment over a short period. We will tell you by email and in the App that the payment failed and ask you to update your payment details.
6.2 Grace period. Your plan stays active during a grace period of 7 days from the first failed renewal attempt, while we retry and you have a chance to fix your payment method. During the grace period you keep full access to your plan's features.
6.3 What happens if payment is still not made. If the payment has not gone through by the end of the grace period, the plan lapses (it is paused or cancelled). We will tell you before this happens. You can restart the plan at any time by updating your payment method and paying.
6.4 What happens to your listings and reservations on lapse. We aim to be fair and to avoid leaving buyers or sellers stranded:
(a) Seller Agent lapse. Your live listings are hidden from search and cannot be newly reserved while the plan is lapsed. Any reservation already in place when the plan lapses is honoured so the buyer is not let down: that collection can still go ahead, including the QR-code handover, where the buyer shows their single-use QR code and you scan it to confirm collection. The buyer's 1.00 reservation fee was already charged at reservation and is not affected by your lapse. Hidden listings are kept for 30 days; if you restart your plan within that time they go live again, and if you do not they may be removed. Restarting your plan restores your listings.
(b) Buyer Agent lapse. Our AI stops finding matches and drafting reservations for you. You can still browse, reserve and collect for free as any buyer can. Any reservation already confirmed before the lapse stands.
(c) Ultra Radius lapse. Your collection radius returns to the default 15 miles. Listings or searches that relied on the wider radius are limited to 15 miles until you restart Ultra Radius. A reservation already made at the wider radius before the lapse is honoured.
6.5 The 1.00 reservation fee is separate from your subscription. We never charge a reservation fee because a subscription payment failed, and a subscription lapse never triggers a reservation fee charge or refund. The reservation fee is charged to the buyer at the moment they reserve, as set out in our Terms of Service and Reservation Fee Policy.
6.6 No-show consequences (sellers). If you hold the Seller Agent subscription and a buyer who reserved one of your items does not turn up to collect (a buyer no-show, where the failure was not your fault), the buyer's 1.00 reservation fee is non-refundable and stays with unKeep; nothing extra is charged to the buyer. unKeep does not pass the buyer's money across to you and does not move money between users. There is no seller credit and no rebate. The consequence for the buyer is reputational, not financial: a no-show applies an automatic downvote to the buyer's rating. After a completed collection, you and the buyer rate each other. The full mechanics are in our Reservation Fee Policy and Seller Terms.
7. Price changes
7.1 We may change the price of a plan or the rate of any applicable VAT. We may also change what a plan includes.
7.2 Notice. If we increase the price of your plan, or make a change to it that is to your disadvantage, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email and in the App before the change takes effect. The notice will tell you the new price, when it starts, and how to cancel if you do not want to continue.
7.3 Your choice. A price increase only applies to renewals on or after the date in the notice. If you do not want to pay the new price you can cancel before it takes effect (see section 5) and you will not be charged the new amount. If you carry on after the change date, the new price applies to your next renewal.
7.4 Minor changes that do not increase your price or reduce the core benefit of your plan (for example small improvements, or a VAT-rate change we are required to pass on) may take effect without 30 days' notice, but we will still tell you about them.
7.5 We will never use a price change as a hidden or surprise charge. All pricing stays VAT-inclusive and free of drip pricing, in line with section 3.6 and the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
8. Consumer rights and fairness
8.1 Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill) and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
8.2 We aim to keep these terms fair and transparent and free of any unfair or penalty terms. If any part of these terms is found to be unfair or unenforceable, the rest of the terms continue to apply.
8.3 If something goes wrong with your subscription and it is our fault, you may be entitled to a refund or a repeat of the service. Contact us at connect@unkeep.co.uk and we will put it right.
9. Tax and your own obligations
9.1 The plan prices include VAT where it applies. If you need a VAT receipt for a plan, you can request one at connect@unkeep.co.uk.
9.2 unKeep does not record the final agreed sale price of any item, because the goods are paid for in cash directly between buyer and seller and unKeep is not a party to the sale. The subscription fees you pay us are for access to the App's features only and are unconnected to the value of anything you buy or sell.
9.3 You are responsible for any tax you may owe on your own activities (for example if you sell as a business). We do not give tax advice.
10. Changes to these terms
10.1 We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will tell you by email and in the App and, where the change affects your price or core benefits, the notice rules in section 7 apply.
10.2 The "Last updated" date at the top of this document shows when these terms were last changed.
11. Contacting us and complaints
11.1 You can contact us about your subscription at connect@unkeep.co.uk.
11.2 If you are not happy with how we have handled your subscription, please tell us and we will try to resolve it. This does not affect your right to take a complaint to a relevant consumer body or to court.
11.3 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
